Solid performance, Slim Build, Great Battery Life

My Nexus 9 tablet I had from 2 years ago had started showing it age, so I was looking to upgrade. Now that Chromebooks support Android Apps, I thought this would be a good replacement as it would also offer me a keyboard.
Off the bat, I noticed that the build quality is really good. When you go to the Best Buy Chromebook display it immediately stands out compared to the thick and bulky plastic units next to it. It's lightweight and slim. In tablet mode, it does feel a bit large, but I notice on my normal couch browsing, I'm more likely to use it laptop or tent mode anyway.
I was concerned about performance since it's using what's basically a phone processor and not a more powerful Intel processor, but it hasn't been a problem at all. I've run multiple Android apps, had over 25 tabs open, watched multiple 1080p Youtube streams and it's all been buttery smooth. I've been really impressed with this performance.
So far, most Android apps have worked well for me. There have been a few that have crashed but none of my more important ones. I imagine as Chromebooks using Android apps take off, developers will start to test them on Chromebooks to make sure they work flawlessly.
Battery life is great too, about 7 - 8 hours usage for me. It's a huge change from my tablet that only got 4 - 6 hours.
The biggest downside is getting used to ChromeOS which just takes some getting used to.

Great build and body, horrible performance

I was looking for a small, portable yet full powered laptop to take with me while traveling. I liked this model because it was compact, had a touchscreen, folded back and used a more powerful processor than the Intel Celeron's, which wouldn't run Photoshop very well. This was a mistake, the Core M processor is a joke. The computer will run fine for a while, and then everything slows to a crawl. Even with just a few windows open, it's like i'm using a 4 year old computer. I can't even watch 1080P Youtube videos without it stalling. It's a shame, I love the size, build quality and feel of the laptop, but it performs like a cheap $200 laptop. Save yourself some frustration and buy a laptop with a i-Series processor if you want real performance.
