This was a Christmas present for an 88 yr old with very limited television channels. (No cable or satellite) It was very easy to show her how to use and view free movies within just a few minutes. It was especially an easy task for her to use with the voice control feature!!

After losing the original remote to our travel trailer's DYNEX tv I purchased a universal tv remote. Days of frustration trying to get it to work led me to bite the bullet and purchase the Insignia brand from Best Buy. Not only did it set up easily to work the tv options between cable and antenna when we travel, it even had quick easy peasy instructions to work with our Sanyo DVD player without the universal code. Now we can store that DVD remote if there is ever a need to use it in the future.

This is quick and easy to watch what is on both our iPad and Samsung tablets on any HDMI equipped TV. We travel much and most hotels have flat screen televisions in rooms and we use our Firestick for movies and Skype.

Do I have to leave the television that is connected to the Slingbox on in order to use it at my other location?
No, you do not. BUT...if someone turns that TV on while you are using SlingBox and changes the channel it WILL change what you are watching. So you do not want it on a "shared" TV.

Yes, this is what we do while traveling! As long as you have WiFi access then you have TV wirelessly.

Does the firestick support mlb.com?
I cannot answer directly to mlb.com. However, it has supported anything we could see on our devices including from away from home via our SlingBox and WiFi.
