The first one of these I bought lasted as long as a week before the 1 year warrantee expired. All the other 4 brands I had tried died just after the warranty period. They would still play DVDs but decided not to play Blue-Ray discs. This is a compact and easy to use player with good performance.With the upscale processor, it renders regular DVDs almost as good a Blue-Ray.

It works! Loading is efficient and function has been excellent. It took a call to customer service to get the internet connection to recognize my system, but after that, everything was smooth. The two control buttons on the front are small and can be tricky to find in the dark. The picture is great and the unit seems to be a good value. Now, we shall seed how long it lasts.
