Great Halestorm concert in their early days

This concert in a club from 2010 forecasts that this is going to be a great hard rock band. Today, in 2015 we have seen all they have accomplished including a signature Gibson guitar for Lzze Hale, and some great CD's ( Into the Wildlife, Covers, and The Strange Case of...) Lzze Hale is the star of this band, but all members do their part in the band. She looks great in this concert with long dark hair, (it changes as the years go by) and great stage presence. This girl can scream and sing with the best of them. Get this DVD if you like Halestorm. You won't be disappointed.

Joe Bonamassa does it again with a great blues concert at Red Rocks. With songs from Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, the band does some long versions of You Shook Me, Spoonful, and Evil. Songs from this concert are being played on satellite Radio. This is my favorite Joe Bonamassa concert.

Had to catch up with the past

Well, I saw Black Sabbath live back in 1980 and 1982. I caught up with them again live in 2013. After talking to "the kids" they reminded me that I don't even own 2 of the best albums Black Sabbath ever recorded. Thus my purchase of these 2 albums, Black Sabbath (1) and Vol. 4. Yes, the "kids R alright" on the recommendation. These are must haves for Black Sabbath fans. I finally caught up with the past !!! Play 'em, Enjoy 'em !!!

Great Solo concert by Justin Hayward and friends

Well, Moody Blues fans. There is another chance to see MB music on Justin's solo tour. The concert, in blu-ray and DVD, is a must see for any MB or Hayward fans. He performs many songs from his new solo CD Spirits of the Western Sky. He also gives great performances of other classic MB songs Tuesday Afternoon, Question, New Horizons, Nights in White Satin, and Forever Autumn. (Yeah I know FA is not technically a MB song) I liked the Blu-ray so much I am going to see a Hayward performance in St. Louis in November.

Best Queen Concert ever released

I remember seeing the 1974 tour in Cleveland, and thinking "I'll never see a concert this good again". Wow, for Queen to release the London show from November 1974 will excite any Queen fans from the early era. This show is before Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You material. It covers the first 3 Queen records. A lot of us, feel this was their best material. I feel this is their best performance. The guitar and drumming solos are terrific. Freddie's stage performance is Classic Freddie Mercury. No one did it better than FM. Queen fans, go get this concert. Plus there are 4 bonus songs from the March 1974 concert, too. One more thing, the blu-ray package includes the audio CD of the show, if you get the 2 disc version.

This a a great club recording. If you've seen Leslie West in a club, then you'll like this recording. A great "live " feel to it. Yeah, we like the good studio quality of some of the recordings, but this great, as is, if you like the "in the club" sound. Mountain fans will like this. I only recently found this recording. I'm glad I have it for my collection. All the songs are long with drumming solos or other extended playing, which we get in the club concerts.

What's great about it: Club environment.
What's not so great: Not studio quality vocals, but for us fans, so what? The music and the "tone" is all Mountain and Leslie West.

Joan Jett's new release, Unvarnished, starts out with a hit single, Any Weather, and gets better as the album progresses. Songs like "Bad As We Can Be" and "Make It Back" highlight the energy her band can deliver. What's nice about this release is, it is better the more you play it.

There is alot to see in this package. The shows begin in 1976 and end in 19990. Special guests Frankie MIller, Eric Burdon, and David Lindley appear in the jam sessios. These 5 shows cover his best songs and many cover favorites. If you've seen Rory live, you'll remember your shows watching this video. If you never saw him live, watching this video, you'll wish you had.
