Saw this years ago and knew Scorsese was one to watch. He delivers a gritty style that is hard to refuse. Actors Keitel and DeNiro shine in early roles. Not as good as Taxi Driver but definitely one to pay attention to for what can be done in an independent film.

There was a time when Herman was one of the funniest people in the universe.This movie reflects that. He had the comedic talents of Jerry Lewis or Charlie Chaplin. This is much better than his other movie and really made me laugh. Blu-ray makes it new again, as well.

Don Knotts lives the life as a fish

Don Knotts is such a versatile comedian. He really brings this movie to life as man in a mid-life crisis who is searching for himself. He finds it in a dream as a fish that blends animation that jumps at you with with real life actors.
It also brings a tremendous amount of nostalgia as I remember this from childhood on the saturday afternoon movie on tv in my town.
The Blu ray is an improvement over the DVD as well.

These actors have gret chemistry and are fun to watch. Not quite as good as the tv show but is close. I would love more James Garner in it. I love that guy. But Mel Gibson was great in this as was Jodie Foster. I like all the shenanigans in this fun western.

I remember watching this on Saturday afternoon on TBS or another cable channel. It brings back nostalgia which is good.
At the time I found the story very surprising and clever and loved it. It is stil very clever and has good acting. I wish more movies were this smart and fun to watch. A great popcorn movie and the blu ray brings some improvement in its transfer.

I love most of Christopher Guest's movies. He brings a hilarious sensibility to most of the movies that he directs and stars in. I look out specifically for a movie to watch with his name on it.
This is a great movie about crazy pet owners with Stars like Eugene Levy. I really like the fun the characters in this movie bring. It is easy to relax and watch this movie and it has lots of rewatchability.

These guys were one real funny. Ben and Vince could really be funny. Not like in some of their recent films. They knew how to really take on a part and find a funny film to star in.

Rodney was at his peak performance here. He could do no wrong in one of the decades's funniest movies. Blu transfer isn't quite a revelation.

Finally a Blu ray catalogue title that looks like Hi Def. And the film that it captures is one of the best films of the time. A real keeper with a great cast.
