John Candy, what a shame he died so young. Very talented he was. And in this, he plays the annoying stranger to Steve Martin who is just your regular average guy.
Classic stuff with allot of laughs - it does have some slow points where the story drags a bit, hence why only 3 stars.
But good movie to watch - can't find comedies like this anymore. A comedy that actually has a teaching attached to it.

Though the movie did possess some good acting and great action scenes, in the end it's the story, the actual plot of it that should matter. And in this movie, the plot was very fragmented, almost non-existent ,really dumb too and very evil.
It's also has a very evil theme in the background and I must admit, I was pretty horrified that anyone would write a story like this and think it'd make a good movie. It's story is almost a carbon copy theme to The Matrix, except now they aren't machines with no humanity, but in fact humans themselves who are basically all evil scum in this future movie setting who think it's just fine to murder whole planets of humans (billions) to gain their genetic material to use as a fountain of youth.
It's also has a very evil theme in the background and I must admit, I was pretty horrified that anyone would write a story like this and think it'd make a good movie. I really enjoyed this movie. A neat new view of the story of King Arthur with a bit of true history thrown in. Also some great fight scenes, they didn't cheap out on them. And a background story of one of the dark times of Rome, when they briefly had a barbarian king in history.

All in all I was somewhat disappointed in the ending of this series. Perhaps I expected too much, but I have difficulty when the so-called "hero" of the show isn't really much of a hero. Time and time again the Mockingjay hero wasn't much of a hero in my book. She acts very petty, self-centered and stupid. The movie does have some good action scenes, but the actual plot of the movie - a revolution, really wasn't present. This movie reminded me allot of The Maze movie.

Johnny Depp did a great job - he is a very talented actor, but in my opinion this movie fell short of my expectations. I didn't realize when I bought it that it was directed by Tim Burton until after. It's the typical weird off-the-wall scattered plot movie. It'd be a one star movie if Depp wasn't in it - he is the only reason the movie was at least bearable to me.
