With a 2TB capacity and a Gigabit Ethernet interface, this WD My Cloud external network-attached storage device lets you easily save files via your existing Dropbox or other Cloud account and access them from devices connected to your home network.
I want this primarily to store my photos, can I use it to get them off of old PC & my new MacBook Air?
I have an old PC (compaq) & I'm keeping it around because I have no other way to store my pictures. I bought a MacBook Air, and I love it, but I need something that can get the old pictures & store the new. Will this do that?
They would each need there own partition.

Do I have to use the cloud? Can't I just hook it up to my Mac via the usb 3.0? Will it recognize the drive by just hooking up with the USB?
It needs to be formatted for the Mac. Don't have to use cloud on Mac. Try hooking it up and see what you get. Partition it if using on a Mac.

I know what you are talking about. Sony moved that one screw location. Try it and see. You have 15 days unless you are an Elite Member and then you have 30 days. You can also ask the Geek Squad for a fee.

will this fit it a Toshiba Sastellite L675 laptop, if not can you reccomend one ??
I suggest you ask Google because i'm not sure. You can always ask the Geek Squad too but there is probably a fee involved.

Does this fit inside a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) ?
I suggest you research Apple Macbook Pro (Retina) on the internet. Ask Google. I'm not sure.
