This is a beautiful monitor, and displays colors really well. It calibrates well, and color reproduction is very nice. It comes calibrated from the factory with a calibration report, but I still profile my monitors to my room environment. These achieve the white point easily with the custom RGB sliders, and once the profile is created, any difference before and after application of the calibration profile is barely noticeable.
I do have these connected to an Nvidia GPU, but to be honest, G-Sync vs FreeSync is not something I care about. I do occasionally play games, but I typically use my computer for working remotely and photo editing. Now, it is not a true 10-bit panel (it is 8-bit plus A-FRC), nor is it a wide gamut monitor, but if you are looking for resolution and great sRGB coverage, this monitor should be a consideration.
I also have it connected to Windows 10 with scaling set to 150%. Text is very difficult to read when at 100% display scaling, as the 27" is a bit small for 4K / UHD at 100% scaling. Also, please note that Windows 10 has a few quirks if you have two monitors with different scaling connected to the same computer. For example, if you have a 24" monitor with a resolution of 1920x1200 at 100% scaling, and this monitor with a resolution of 3840x2160 at 150% scaling, the desktop icons will be at 150% scale on the smaller monitor. Also, some applications are not built to handle different scaling percentages between monitors well, and Microsoft leaves that part of the application to the application's developers. Microsoft is working on it though, and may have the quirks worked out with future updates.
I previously had a triple monitor setup, and while I did lose functionality of that setup, I did gain more resolution for a single monitor and it's something I look forward to using when editing photos.
I did read reviews regarding a weak stand, but I cannot comment on that because I have a VESA mount that I use.

It's a thin mouse pad and slides on my desk a lot

I wanted to purchase a mouse pad because I got tired of using my mouse directly on the desk surface. It works as intended, but it is thin. I actually like that it is thin, but it has a tendency to slide around on the desk surface a lot. I do plan to continue using it, but I am searching for something that would not slide as much and stay put.
It's a big mouse pad, so do pay attention to the dimensions. Part of it sits under my keyboard, which is a tenkeyless model. My desk has a keyboard tray, so when the keyboard is centered, the mouse pad sits under it by a couple inches. It's not terrible, but it does cause a loss of real estate on the pad for the mouse to travel.

I bought this to use in my compact camera, and it works well. When it comes to memory cards for my cameras, I only purchase Sandisk Extreme / Extreme Pro or Lexar Pro. This card does not delay writing images, and keeps up with video recording. It worked well to record 1080p video, but I have not yet tested 4K video recording with it yet. I expect it to handle it with ease, though.

I'm a fan of Logitech mice, and this one is generally no exception. It's a heavy mouse, which I like. It's a little larger than my preference, but buttons are laid out well. My main gripes are that the single AA battery does not last much longer than a day, which is fine since you can plug it in and use it as a wired mouse. Unfortunately, the provided cable is thick and stiff, which makes for an unpleasant experience while using it in wired mode.
I ended up exchanging this for a G502, which I really like.

This is a TLC NAND SSD, and it works well for what I use it for. I use it to import photos from my camera and as a working drive for photo editing. I use it to keep catalogs and sessions of the current project I happen to be working on. So far, I haven't noticed any slow down with regards to transferring to or from the drive.
Samsung is one of the leaders in the SSD market, and for a consumer SSD, this drive provides good performance for the price. I've had it for about six months or so now, and I have not noticed it to exhibit similar symptoms to it's predecessor, the 840 Evo.

I bought this micro sd card for expanding the storage capacity in my Galaxy S7 Edge. It works really well when taking pictures, as I set my camera app to record pictures straight to the card.
The phone has no problem detecting the micro sd card. One item to note, and I'm not sure if its the phone or the card, but when transferring items on the card via the phone's USB port, the transfers are slow. Transferring files to the onboard storage of the phone is fast, but when accessing the card, it's slow to detect the card and also slow during the file transfers.
It's inconvenient on the GS7e to remove the card, so testing the card by itself via a card reader requires getting the sim tool out. I have yet to run a test since it is more convenient to plug in the phone to my computer's USB port than to take the micro sd card out.

Overall, a good compact camera but...

I was looking for a portable camera that I could carry in my pocket. I have a couple other Canon cameras, so I naturally decided to purchase the G7X Mark II.
Overall, it's a good camera. The image quality is great in good lighting, but the amount of noise in higher ISO images is a bit disappointing. It's auto-focus is fairly quick, but sometimes it doesn't lock the first time. It has a good zoom range for a compact camera, and the lens quality is good.
I took pictures and video in a variety of lighting conditions. It does very well for shooting video in low-light, and is a very impressive camera in this regard.
On day 2, I noticed that the camera had a hot pixel while shooting video. Ultimately, I returned the camera for this flaw, so I did not have much of an opportunity to test it beyond a few days. I could not find an option in the menu to remap the hot pixel. The time I did spend with it was a pleasure, and it was a good camera.
The image colors are true to Canon, and embody the warmth that Canon is known for. If the still images were sharper in lower lighting conditions and if it did not have the hot pixel during video, I would have kept the camera.

This is my first sous vide machine, and I've used it a couple times now. The first time I cooked with it, I made some dover sole. The sole came out perfect, tender, and really flakey. Unfortunately, the filet's are a bit thin so it broke apart as I was taking it out of the vacuum sealed bag.
The second time I used it, I cooked ribeye steak. Finishing the ribeye with a reverse sear was the perfect complement to cooking it via sous vide first.
