The first sequel to the critically acclaimed Canadian horror film Ginger Snaps finds Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins returning to their roles under the direction of first-time feature filmmaker Brett Sullivan, who received a Genie Award nomination for his editing work on the first film. Released directly to DVD in the United States after a theatrical run in Canada, Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed finds Brigitte terrorizing a drug-rehab clinic when she's denied the serum that curbs her wolf-like tendencies. The film is presented in widescreen with the English soundtrack mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and Spanish subtitles are available as well. Along with the film itself, the disc provides viewers with several bonuses, not the least of which is a feature-length audio commentary track. For an even more in-depth look at the making of the film, there is behind-the-scenes footage, a featurette focusing on the makeup department's task of transforming the actors into blood-thirsty beasts, and a collection of original storyboards. Last but not least, several deleted scenes are included, rounding out a nicely loaded package.

Ever since their daughter was born, it was only a matter of time before Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) finally tied the knot. And while they do say "I do" in Season 9 in a TV wedding for the ages, it's not before an unforgettable proposal that involves the diabolical Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds), whose obsession with Brennan brings them closer than they've ever been. Of course, the couple's honeymoon in Buenos Aires turns into a busman's holiday when they help a detective investigate the murder of a Nazi war criminal. Back at the Jeffersonian, Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) discuss having another child; Sweets (John Francis Daley) takes a leave of absence; Cam (Tamara Taylor) is the victim of identity theft; Clark (Eugene Byrd) writes a novel; and Wendell (Michael Grant Terry) is jolted by news that could affect his future at the lab.
Bridget (Emily Perkins) and Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) are back in Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning, a 19th century prequel to the first two successful entries in the Ginger Snaps film series. The film finds the doomed sisters wandering the wilderness when they stumble across a broken down outpost whose supplies have been cut off for nearly two months. Sadly, while they've been waiting, they've also been dying -- not of starvation, but from werewolf attacks. While Bridget recovers from an unfortunate encounter with a bear trap, the two lone women in the camp are faced with growing hostility stemmed from the fire and brimstone preacher (Hugh Dillon from the Canadian punk rock band the Headstones) and a dangerous secret that lands Ginger back in werewolf land once again. With tensions rising as the bloodthirsty creatures try to break down the fort walls, how will the group react when one of its own starts becoming the one thing that they want to keep out?
