This multi-disc collection brings together five western dramas and features All the Pretty Horses, starring Matt Damon and Penelope Cruz. Also included are Bloodworth with Kris Kristofferson and Val Kilmer; Don't Come Knocking, starring Sam Shepard and Jessica Lange; Old Gringo with Jane Fonda, Gregory Peck, and Jimmy Smits; and Sunset with Bruce Willis and James Garner.
Sunset is the reason for this purchase. Bruce Willis plays a larger than life Tom Mix, while Garner plays a believable Wyatt Earp. The interaction between the two is fun and playful. The storyline has enough twists and turns to keep this murder mystery interesting.
"Lord, help me get one more." Staying true to ones beliefs no matter how adverse the conditions and doing what's right, not for glory, recognition or reward, simply because what's on the inside must shine outward.
This movie has adventure, fantasy and comedy all rolled into one. Thoroughly enjoyable movie from the first viewing to the tenth. A must have in any video collection.
The isolation and analytics of the first movie are missing. Is it suppose to be about a father protecting his possible daughter or exposing bad guys? Jack's attraction was being unencumbered with the perks of life we all hold dear. Free to do anything necessary, brilliant in his deductions and so physically gifted that he overcomes any foe in the pursuit of justice.
A Lot of character development, but, it seems necessary to be able to comprehend the reality plan this movie is laid out on. Loved Cumberbatch he has the presence to make Dr Strange seem real in a unreal world.
Daniel Day Lewis made me feel like I was peeking on a historic event. Some of the facts I've read about Lincoln were incorporated in the movie. I could see how the subject matter might not play well in this area.
