Cheap USB 3.0 Flash Drive - Not much more to say

The SanDisk Ultra 32GB USB 3.0 Flash drive is what you would expect for about $10 dollars. While it isn't super small like many of the PNY drives, it's read and write speeds are much better on average and those read/write speeds won't degrade as quickly overtime as the many of the PNY flash drives are known to (performance will often will drop 50%-75% within a year).
Again, this is on of SanDisk's budget flash drives, so don't expect speeds anywhere close to the claimed 100 MB/s speeds. If you want speed like that, take a look at the SanDisk Extreme line-up (realistic speeds between 100-150 MB/s) or the SanDisk Extreme Pro which is blazing fast with read/write speeds close to 200 MB/s. But all that speed comes at a cost. I just needed to store some documents so those drives would have been major overkill.

Fantastic choice for Dragon Dictation!

Compared to just a few years ago, dictation software has vastly improved (especially on the Mac). After a horrible experience 3 years ago, I decided to give it a second go when Nuance released the new version of Dragon Professional for Mac. I started out using a cheap headset microphone, but it was uncomfortable and made me feel tethered.
After hearing from other Mac users of Dragon, the Blue Yeti came highly recommended and was also "officially" supported by Nuance. While $130 initially felt a bit pricey, after getting my hands on it and using it for a few weeks I consider it to be an absolute steal for the price. This mic is a legitimate professional mic that can used in so many different ways - Podcasts, Skype / FaceTime, Google Hangouts, GarageBand, YouTube Blogs, conference calls, and dictation just to name a few.
Initially I thought I would have to have the mic sitting pretty close while I dictated, but I just leave it sitting next to monitor facing towards me at an angle. Despite being nearly 2 feet away, it performed leaps and bounds better than the original plastic headset mic I used initially (which sat about an inch away from my mouth).
The Yetti is nearly perfect, but I do have 1 major complaint. I really wish it had an on/off switch because if you leave it plugged into your computer, it has a red LED that is constantly lit up (if it is muted the LED will blink). The only way to turn it off is to unplug it which can be inconvenient. However, I ended up just buying a cheap $7 USB adapter that has an off/on power button so I can leave the microphone plugged in and just press the button on the adapter when I need to use it. Despite this one drawback, I still give it 5/5 stars and my full recommendation!

Ideal 4K & Dolby Atmos Demo Disk, Ok Movie

This is one of the few "True 4K" UHD available due to the fact that it was shot AND mastered in 4K. The action scenes along with the fantastic special effects demonstrate the benefits of 4K video. The 4k video is paired with an excellent dolby atoms soundtrack as well if you are lucky enough to have such a set-up. As I mentioned earlier, most of the UHD blu-ray's currently available don't represent "True 4K" for a number of different reasons with the most common being:
1). They weren't shot with a 4k digital format camera or film worthy of a quality 4k transfer
2.) Were shot in 4K, but mastered in a lower video resolution (usually 2k).
2.) Were shot in 4K, but mastered in a lower video resolution (usually 2k).
Regarding the Movie itself, I thought it was mediocre at best. It isn't anything like the original (and obviously doesn't have the nostalgia many of us associate with the original). I felt the story line jumped around a bit to much and the characters were never fully explored. In summary, just an action-filled popcorn flick that was entertaining enough, but not worthy of a 2nd watch.

I've always been an early adopter and I still remember the day I watched the introduction of the original hue bulbs. I was immediately hooked and went and bought a start-up pack on the first day of availability.
Over the past few years, I have continued to love my hue system (especially with the recent upgrade that made the system compatible with HomeKit), but noticed I seldom used the "colored" lights. Instead I used the "light recipes" that changed the temperature of the white light nearly every day. During the day I would switch the lights to the "concentrate" setting for higher temperature light (4000-5000K) and later in the day I would change over to the softer light temperature that most people are used to.
So when I saw the the announcement that they would be releasing these bulbs I was ecstatic. Plus, they were going to be brighter (800 lumens vs 600 lumens of original model) and half the price! I have purchased a number of these bulbs over the past 2 months and highly recommend them to anyone interested in smart lighting. The colored lighting of hue is fun at first, but I feel most users don't often change their lighting to blue, red, and green after the first couple of weeks. The affordability and the practicality of these bulbs strike just the right balance for those interested in high quality "adjustable white" lights.

I'm honestly a little suprised that it took this long for a company to make a case specifically for the Apple Pencil, especially considering Apple didn't seem to design the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil with pencil storage or attachment in mind.
I saw this on Logitech's website when they announced it a month or so back and had it pre-ordered through Logitech's store, but I was walking through Best Buy and noticed they had one. The employee said that it had just come in and they had only received one so I grabbed it.
Now that I have had it for nearly a month, I can't recommend it enough! I use it almost every day to store my Pencil in my work bag. I was even able to order an extra cap and charging adapter through Apple support so I that the case is fully filled and I have an extra tip, cap, or charger if I ever need them.

I've been a Bose noise canceling headphones owner for over 10 years. I have always been blown away by how well Bose's noise cancellation tech works - it blows the competition out of the water! It's as simple as that. Plus, with each new release this tech continues to get better and better.
I love Bluetooth headphones because of the cord-freedom they provide, they were always being held back by one issue or another. nitially, Bluetooth headphones were known for their poor audio quality and the first pair I bought were returned fairly quickly because they were such a disappointment. However, the sound quality and features of Bluetooth headphones are getting mighty close to their corded counterparts so much so that I was using my Beats Studio Wireless headphones as my go to cans.
The high-end Beats touted noise cancellation tech, but it is a joke when compared to these new Bose. Additionally, I personally feel the Bose are much more comfortable and are more compact than the high end Beats headphones.
