Great acting, great movie!

I've never read the novel, but I did see the play on Broadway. The movie does very well in capturing the feel of Revolutionary France. The emotions that are captured from the actors feel intimate and powerful.

What's great about it: The acting is fantastic and the singing was done live, giving this musical a deep, emotional quality.
What's not so great: Can't think of anything
