Bittersweet Ending to a Great Show

Being a huge fan of the character of Sarah Jane Smith from the early years of "Doctor Who," it thrills me that actress Elisabeth Sladen was able to revive the character for a new generation of fans. The only "bad" thing about this fifth season is that it was the last, due to Elisabeth's death in the midst of filming - so it's bittersweet, especially the tribute that is the only special feature included. But Lis was a tremendously talented actress and "The Sarah Jane Adventures" is a great way to both get to know her AND to remember her forever.
What's great about it: Elisabeth Sladen!
What's not so great: It's Elisabeth Sladen's final goodbye
I would recommend this to a friend!
