Great sound! Just one thing...

These headphones produce great sound! The features they include (surround sound and bass boost) are easy to use and add a good deal to the value of the product. The only downside is that you have to find place to put the receiver so that there is little to no interference between the headset and the receiver (this includes setting it away from your modem, not setting it behind anything metal, etc). Once I found the right spot in my apartment, the sound never skipped a beat.

Compatibility to Samsung TV
Are these compatible with Samsung UN65J8500FXZA? TV has connector box for dvd, cable, etc. Box has audio out connection for optical cable. Is cable included with headphones? Is adapter needed?
All you need is an optical audio slot on your TV.

Does the Base Station Charge the HeadSet?
I have a pair of Sony's that charge when hung on the base station. Is that the case here?
Yes. The charging station is also the receiver.

Is tv volume cut off when using headphones?
I would like to know if my wife can listen to the tv sound as I am wearing the headphones
I have a Samsung sound bar (plugged into an HDMI slot) and these headphones (plugged into the optical audio out). When I use the headphones, the TV volume is independently controlled, so I am able to have the TV audio and the headphone audio on at the same time.
