Six months have passed when Season 4 begins with Duke (Eric Balfour) awaking in a psychiatric ward and learning that the Troubles have never left Haven. In fact, they are worse than ever. Nathan (Lucas Bryan) knows he can put an end to the town's suffering by having Audrey (Emily Rose) kill the one person she loves, who is Nathan. Finding her isn't easy, though. Nathan has his hands full investigating crimes that involve victims who have been charcoaled and drained of their blood. Meanwhile, Audrey believes she's a bartender named Lexie. It's only with the help of a mysterious stranger named William (Colin Ferguson) and Duke's voice-hearing friend Jennifer (Emma Lahana) that the guys get Audrey back. But their problems don't stop there as they cope with big changes, more Troubles and a devious newcomer who has a thing for Audrey.
