I give this three stars, but really want to give it 2.5. This season is definitely not as good as the first, nor the second season, which itself was not as good as the first. I tried to appreciate the new direction where the writers were trying to go, but in all honesty I found myself forcing myself to finish the third season. I'm hoping that the fourth will at least be as good as the second.

I really wanted to like this movie. I was one of the people that bought tickets online within a minute of them going on sale. I saw it two times in the theater and then once at home. I can honestly say....bleh. Yes, it's great to see all the old favorites and familiar ships and weapons, but the story was really weak. The new characters were a little annoying to me. Also a lot of their dialogue was childish and dull. JJ....you can do better, can't you? Still if you're a Star Wars fan, then this movie will appeal to you. I have it three stars because I expected it to be worth the wait and it fell short.
