I'm sceptical of why some hdml cables cost so much more than others. They send a digital signal, it's on or off. Just my opinion.
This cable was cheap and does it's job. I'm able to view 3D blu-ray and 180p SBS 3D signals from an Apple TV just fine.

Great for diapers

We use our machine for our everyday laundry and also our cloth diapers. The machine seems to agitate just enough with it's mixed rotations to get the diapers clean. It runs pretty quietly, we hardly hear it in a bedroom that is right next to the laundry room.

Great for "warm" storage

The drive has amazing capacity but don't count on it for using as a scratch disk for any heavy multimedia creation. I am currently using it to serve as a Time Machine and Media storage; it serves great for this purpose. The read/write times aren't the fastest but the USB 3.0 definately makes this better than just an archive drive.
This drive replaced a previous 3TB backup plus that failed after 3 years.

Will I be able to transfer pics from my iphone wirelessly?
I need this drive to be able to get my pics wirelessly from my iphone.
There is no wireless built in to this drive, you'll need to set this drive up connected via USB to your computer and wirelessly sync/backup to your computer to accomplish what you're after.
