Amazing Vocals

I'm not an American Idol fan and never saw Adam Lambert perform prior to the Music Awards show. I thought his performance was over the top and not in a good way. I was not a big fan. THEN I saw him perform on Ellen DeGeneras' show and was amazed. I enjoyed his performance so much that I bought this CD. I was not disappointed. In fact I am truly impressed with Adam's vocal strength. His ballards were especially a surprise as I had never heard him sing ballards before. You can really appreciate the fact that he is a "Broadway" talent and I can just imagine how good he was in "Wicked". I don't think any one will be disappointed with this CD.
What's great about it: A real mix of rock and ballads
What's not so great: Some of the "screaming" I can do without
I would recommend this to a friend!

She Wolf is worth a listen

This is a good CD from Shakira but it does not surpass Oral Fixation. I particularly do not enjoy having songs repeated in spanish. They are good but still a repeat of songs. I would have preferred hearing something new to take up the disc space. Having the first and last songs the same is annoying when the CD is on continuous play.
If you are a Shakira fan you will enjoy this CD - no matter how you set up the CD, Shakira's talent shines through.
What's great about it: Shakira has a very unique voice and she knows how to manipulate it well.
What's not so great: Repeat of songs in spanish, especially making the first and last songs the same.
I would recommend this to a friend!
