I currently have a oneac 250e battery backup for my cash register which is getting old,will this product work for me? I should add that I have Ruby VeriFone rigisters. TY
The UPS you are using now is quite a bit larger than this unit. If this is a business critical register, i would recommend looking at a larger APC. Maybe somewhere along the lines of a 1500.

What is the inrush current on this device? Will it lower the inrush current my PC power supply unit draws from the wall-circuit breaker on turn on? PC pwr supply unit has inrush current of 46amp and keeps tripping the 15 amp breaker.
This unit will send the inrush through to the circuit. At that point, the breaker will trip but the APC will remain on allowing the pc to power on. I would recommend buying a larger APC that specifies the allowable inrush. Then you could unplug the APC from the wall to allow the PC to use the power from the APC to power on , then plug the APC back in to the outlet on the wall.
