Kyng is one of the best new bands out there. They have a style that really suits fans of grunge, stoner metal, and classic hard rock. When you listen to the wall of sound this band makes it makes you forget that this is just a 3 piece band.

What's great about it: REALLY GREAT RIFFS, KILLER LYRICS IN "OLD" STYLE
What's not so great: THEY WILL PROBABLY REPACKAGE THIS WITH CONCERT DVD BUT I WILL GET THAT TOO

If you loved the "Painkiller" album then this album will strike you as just as good or even better. This is one SOLID release from a band 40 years into their careers. Ritchie Faulkner brings a new found sence of excitement to this band and Glen Tiptons playing. As usual Mr. Metal God- Rob Halford still has the voice he had 20 years ago. Real standouts on this album...........WHOLE DANG THING!

Mastodon have made a brilliant album, personally I like it better than their last effort "The Hunter". This album has great flow throughout. The groups vocals on this are very interesting, they all have their parts and make them work very well together. Not much screaming/yelling vocals but it still retains the heaviness Mastodon is known for. Guitar work is excellent, killer riffs with great harmonizing solos. Drums are right on par with previous material. This band is getting closer to be being at top of the metal/hard rock food chain for years to come
