Microwave worked great, but convection failed

After researching the GE Profile microwave/convection oven extensively we decided to purchase the product over the internet from Best Buy. Delivery from was within 2 - 3 days which was great as the other suppliers were at least 10 days. However when I opened the box the glass plate support ring was broken. The ring was replaced by Best Buy at one of their stores. However I had a feeling the microwave was a return. The installation was extremely easy. The Microwave worked great. A few days later we tried to use the convection oven and there was this horrible noise coming from the rotating plate. It looked like the plate was trying to turn but couldn't. We returned the unit for a full refund.
