Well worth the expense for the protection

When I bought my camera is recommended to me to buy this to place over my lens for protection- so this could be scratched and not my lens... my first week of use i was so glad to have it- this cover got splashed, bumped, etc... all instead of my lens. Best money I ever spent. I would defintiely offer the same advice to anyone purchasing a camera lens!!

Great camera for beginners

I LOVE the improved quality of photos having and SLR means! This compact design is just the ticket!!! The auto settings helps in getting started. I can't wait to take classes to learn the next steps. However, it wasn't hard to figure out some basic adjustments in just playing around with the settings on the camera.... in that way the camera is easy to use!
You can add to it and make it far more complex or as simple as you wish!
Deifinitely not the cheapest or the most expensive. A great middle of the road camera for a camera buff that wants something more than a point and shoot.
