It is a nice protective case for the surface - fits really well and it is easy to use. I have not dropped the surface yet to find out if it works - we will leave that for later - if it happens we will find out!
A couple of things I do not like that could be improved:
1) The power connector can be connected only in one direction, cable facing downwards - do not know how this will affect connecting the microsoft hub
2) the back of the case seals the heat in - should have some holes to allow heat to escape for cooling purposes. It is a tight and good fit but ...

Excellent machine - needs a little to get used to the pen and the various features. I wish they had a built-in app/program for using the pen to correct documents. The other annoyance is updates for windows 10. It seems microsoft knows best when to mess things up - need to find out how to disable autoupdates and rather download and install similar to win 7 pro.
