I love "B" horror films. There are a lot of very good ones out there. Unfortunately, The Devil's Dolls is not one of them. I enjoyed the other films that Padraig Reynolds has made. The idea of worry dolls is interesting. The film itself not so much. Gaping plot holes, sub par acting. Decent gore though. Recommended if it's pouring outside and you have absolutely nothing to do.

I will always support Rob Zombie. Films and music. 31 is an ok watch. Not very original. The story has been done before in varying degrees. It definitely has Zombie's gritty feel. Recommended if you don't have much to do.

Under the Shadow is a Middle Eastern film set in the 1980's during the Iran/Iraq war. It intertwines the horrors of war and the supernatural as well as the horror that goes on inside a woman's mind. Phenomenal film. I'm not going to go into much more detail in fear of ruining the film. Just watch.

The Monster is a decent film. It's kind of more of a drama about a fractured relationship between a mother and daughter with a monster thrown in. It's refreshing to see a monster using practical effects and not CG.

Blair Witch is the sequel we've waited for. Very well done. Expanded on the mythology of the whole thing. I'm not knocking the film Book of Shadows which came out years ago but Blair Witch is exactly what fans of the first film have been waiting for. Highly recommended!
