I've always liked Lacuna Coil even though they mellowed out some on their last album. Delirium is fantastic. I'm ecstatic that they went heavier this time around. Highly recommended.
I love It Follows and I had already purchased it on Bluray. I double dipped because of the Steelbook. Great design. I'm glad they used the original artwork for the Steelbook. Well worth it.
Emelie is not a bad watch. I did like the fact that there was more to her than just being crazy for the sake of being crazy. Unfortunately there isn't much that separates this film from all of the others.
I enjoy films about "killer" dolls and I had high hopes for The Boy. It was alright. I think the filmmakers did a good job with the look of the doll. The set up was pretty good and I'm not going to give anything away but the ending let me down somewhat. Not a bad film to watch if you have some time to kill.
I know that people's reviews of The Witch vary but I absolutely loved it. I was very thankful that a film like this was able to get a wide release when it was in theatres. Now that the bluray has come out, I still love it just as much as I did when I first saw it. Fantastic story, atmosphere, directing, etc.
You know exactly what you are getting when Rob Zombie releases a new album. If something isn't broken, then why fix it. My only minor issue with The Electric Warlock is that it is extremely short and I've read interviews with him and why he decided not to make a long album. Other than than, it's another great album from Zombie.
I've liked Otep since the days of the Jihad EP. I thought their last album Hydra was ok. Generation Doom is a nice return to form, in my opinion. I enjoy the more mellow tracks just as much as I do the heavy ones. Recommended.
I loved every second of Krampus. Another film to add to the required viewing list of films to watch during the holidays. Just because a horror film is rated PG-13, doesn't automatically mean it's going to be terrible. The man behind "Trick 'r Treat" has done it again!
