I've been using this WD 4TB hard drive for well over 10 months. I'm not one that keeps it plugged in all the time. Only have it plugged in when needed. I have to say, it has never given me any problems. Very fast downloading; so fast that this is my second one. Love it. Would highly recommend. Got it at a great price, too!

Marcia, make it your business each and every time, when you have issues, go to YouTube. I’ll find it hard to believe that YouTube won’t have an answer for any situation. do I need and amplifier to power these or is it built in? What else do I need to run these?
Yes, you need a receiver or amplifier to power these. These speakers do have to be plugged in to a wall outlet if you would like to use the gain control on the back of the speakers. That will give you more control of the bass output according to your likes. These speakers are phenomenal! If you don’t have a subwoofer, these just may be all that you’ll need...
Connect the output from the receiver or amplifier to the bottom two terminals on the back of the speakers. The top two terminals are designed for connecting the Atmos speakers (A90s’) if you have them.

Am concerned about having sufficient bandwidth to handle new Samsung smart TV (un55HU6830F). If it matters ...am using verizon fios as internet/cable vendor.
Also, would you recommend getting same cable rating for each device (Xbox, blue-ray player...) that will be connecting to tv? Am considering getting some type of HDMI splitter (4k capable) as well. Please advise.

You're going to be limited coming from Fios output to your smart tv. That cable that you mentioned should be OK/ you're not receiving 4K content from Fios... If your connecting a 4K media player to your tv, I would suggest the Monster Black Platinum cables. Monster would always be a better choice for cable connecting. If it's a 4K tv, it should has the ability to possibly upscale 4 times the resolution that the tv receives. I would purchase the cables accordingly.

Does the cable support a 600Hz refresh rate?
All day... I have two Panasonic TV's and the cable works fine...
