Sad to say we have had 2 refrigerators fail in last 5 yrs. Because of Geek Squad protection, each was cheerfully replaced by Best Buy. The KitchenAid - 26.8 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator is a new model and is built to improve the known weaknesses of what came before it, not mentioning names other that of Samsung. It also meets and exceeds on customer needs and interests. It looks great inside and out. It is large and totally functional in design. All the engineering is well thought out and it just works, silently!

This new Maytag is impressive! It harkens back to the renown top of the line washers from which Maytag earned its stellar reputation of previous decades. It is very quiet and clean exceedingly well. The direct drive is of intelligent and elegant design.
Only negative is the squeeze clamp used to attach the drain hose to the dryer We switched it out with a camp that screws tight to prevent slippage.
Strongly recommend that Maytag provides a superior clamp for a superior product.
