Why is there no 3D edition when it comes to home video? We'd have to pay $30 now for 4K, and another $30 for 3D later.
As for the Movie itself: Some of the deeper issues about the value of tradition vs modernity is the central issue in this movie. It kind of reminds me of the "unaffiliated with any church" movement this world is coming to. t makes enough connections to #7 that makes #7 look better.
I can see a couple scenes that would look cool in 3D like the "infinite Rey" scene.
Transcend reality whenever you play Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite for Xbox One. Explore this advanced game’s visually stunning universe via story mode, or get right into the fray with a friend when you pick multi-player mode. Well-known characters, including Mega Man and Captain Marvel, make this Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite for Xbox One game fun and engaging.
You got over 1000 combinations of 2 players out of 16+ characters and 6 gems which depending, and there are just as many opposing combinaiton, so online, you're unlikely to find the same option twice because that's 1 out a million if you randomly pick everything, 1/1000 if you have a favorite combo.
With that many combinations, there's bound to be no one killer combination that everyone wants to play.
If you're going to play this game, you should get a fight stick, or else there is no way to make those special moves fairly often. Unfortunately, no one makes a right-handed fight stick, so go custom.
I think J J Abrahms was going for a natural, "if it can be real, it should be" approach in effects in general, and this shows up in the 3D. The most obvious 3D scenes are the Star Destroyer in space coming right in your lap, and the Millenium Falcon chase scene within the star destroyer. that and Kylo Ren's Lightsaber sparking and Snowflakes in the final land battle shows it's 3d. Admittedly if Abrahms would have artificially turned up the 3D for effects, it would seem like pornographic 3D (in a non-snuggly way), and that would have violated his general vision of "if it can be real, it should." In most cases if real life had pornographic 3D, you'll poke your eye out. So it seems like a realistic 3D. It looks more nautral, especially compared to The Phantom Menace 3D, which was never releases on Blu Ray, and I saw why. It looked like animated 2D cutouts places on different planes. This is a good way to add depth to the event a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
I don't like how they sell a 4K and a 3D in separate packages and ask us to buy 2 Blu Rays and 2 digital downloads if we want a 3D and a 4K copy. Also why are digitals included? It just increases the prices on people who don't have enough bandwidth to use the digital copy. We go to Best Buy because we don't have enough bandwidth to enjoy download movies. I'd rather have 4K + 3D than either 3D or 4K + digital. Otherwise the movie is more along the line of the more Action-based Star Treks Abrahms started, even more so than when Abrahms was directing. first 15 minutes was boring but is important for the end. Not as deep thinking as the TV series episodes.

I had a $5 coupon that was expiring that day, so I looked for the cheapest thing that I needed, and they were rechargeable batteries. I had energizers before than they were good. They last a little less per charge compared to Duracel, but Duracels had half the batteries for the same price. Energizer was the better bargain.
