For years Apple touted the iPhone 3,4,and 5 as being the best size for one handed operation. It was easy to handle but as someone over the age of 40, I am used to trying to type and spell and use grammar correctly. My awkward fingers would slow my typing to a crawl on the tightly spaced keys. That and the small type in poorly formatted emails and websites left me interested in something bigger. But size alone could not make me put up with Android phones. When this was announced, I wept for joy! Now I have it I actually see the wisdom of the previous form factor. But, the keyboard and text size win so I am coping with the slight clumsiness. If you do not want to be a two handed phone user, avoid the 6Plus.

I bought the new iPhone 6 day one but balked at $30 and $40 cases. Within 24 hours I had dropped it twice and decided that a case was a smart investment. This one was reasonably priced, seemed protective and afforded me a less slippery surface.
