Bought this Apple power brick so I could get the extension cord and not have to worry about the brick coming unplugged or have a loose connection into a surge suppressor. My (used) Macbook Pro came with an aftermarket brick & USB-C power cord. Since I use surge suppressors, the bricks that plug directly in to the outlet can tilt or come completely out. Got this so I could get the extension cord and not have to worry about that.

Sound quality is very good and the microphone has multiple options for picking up sound: stereo, bidirectional, omnidirectional and "cardioid" making it very versatile. The one negative thing is it is a rather large and heavy microphone, but that also means it isn't going to tip over or fall with just a slight bump, like some smaller microphones might do.

Screen size and resolution are superb, coupled with the additional ~250GB of flash storage makes it the ultimate for traveling especially for long flights! More storage for movies (even HD) to choose from :-) The more I use it, the more I love it, use it everywhere, and feel as though I would be LOST without it! The iPad is extremely fast (in comparison to my iPad Air 2), and I love the finger/thumb recognition for login similar to the iPhone 6 and newer which speeds up the process of getting access considerably.
Also purchased the Logitech Logi Create keyboard and cover to give better protection than the Apple keyboard. With the Logitech cover/keyboard a glass screen protector is a MUST to prevent rubbing from the keyboard edges from creating a "smudge" line across the screen. Learned this by reading reviews on the Logi Create. Buy the screen protector before you use the Logitech keyboard/cover to keep from getting the bad experience first hand as several others did. The Apple keyboard does not have the same issue, however it does not have the protection for the back of the iPad the way the Logitech cover does. One additional plus for this and any smart connector keyboard/cover is that you can use the keyboard during a flight because Bluetooth is not required!! You can't miss if you use these three together (keyboard/cover, glass screen protector, and the 12.9" iPad Pro). One of the best gifts (Father's day for the iPad) and purchases (Logi Create keyboard/case and glass screen protector) I've ever received/bought!!

Good Surround Sound on My Mac when Used with DSS2

Good surround sound on my Mac. Originally bought this with the DSS2 piece for surround sound on my 17" Macbook Pro. When I upgraded to a 15" late 2013 MBP, the surround worked but the mic would not when paired with the onboard sound card. (17" had both a mic and headphone jack, 15" went to a single combined jack). By using a Turtle Beach Amigo II USB sound card on the 15" MBP, I'm now able to get the surround sound and use the mic. Had to buy this set of headphones w/o DSS2 because there is a fairly small piece that allows the ear cups to swivel and adjust to your ears/head where the ear cups attached to the headband. After about 1.5 years of use, I set the headphones down (set them down, didn't toss them) on my desk and left the room for a few minutes. When I came back I noticed one of the ear cups just hanging by the wires. Not sure when or how it happened, but they obviously wouldn't stay on any more. This time when I purchased the headphones alone, I got the 2 year Geek Squad protection plan in case it happens again. Other than that the headphones do what I want, are fairly comfortable and provide the mic for an occasional use for online chat or moderating a SANS class. I'm not a gamer and have yet to use the headphones for gaming. My main use is for online classes, and to get surround sound while watching movies/tv clips on my Mac.
IMPORTANT, these headphones alone DO NOT PROVIDE SURROUND SOUND, you MUST have some other surround sound processor in addition to the headphones.

what accessories are needed to use/plug headset in Xbox 360 or PC or does the headset come with these items?
It has everything you need to connect to an XBox 360. To connect to a PC, it would depend on whether your PC has separate mic and headphone jacks, or just a single combined jack. If the latter you would need a splitter that allows you to connect the green (headphones) and pink (mic) plugs into a single plug.

can i plug the cable into an iphone to talk on the phone?
Not without some kind of adapter that takes the separate mic and headphone plugs down to a single, ***IMPORTANT*** ***Apple compatible*** plug. The adapter would need to have, at a minimum a splitter for the separate mic and headphone jack that goes to a single plug with three bands (not the normal two for right/left stereo) around the plug.
