I happen to think that Californication is their best album to date. The song writing is strongest here and they had mounted a colossal comeback after struggling towards the end of the century. They managed to make a solid album full of classic tracks that resonates with me to this day.
Want to hear an album full of funk, fun, and fortitude? By The Way is an essential RHCP album that surpasses those expectations. There are many musical directions experimented with here, yet it is cohesive and still unexpected.
Shout Factory is doing the Lord's work remastering B&T, but they have also loaded up the special features disc with so many excellent goodies. I couldn't be more pleased with this release. Throw the DVDs out, and buy Shout!
I love the new album, and I understand that people are upset about the use of band instruments such as horns on certain tracks. I think it still rocks, and the Ska or Aerosmith from the 80s-90s sound is a nice change of pace.

This TV has a fantastic picture, but the smart TV function kind of lags when you first power on. HBO Go is kind of glitchy on here as well, but no other problems.
Shout/Scream factory has been putting out some of the best looking Blurays, that are also loaded with great special features. Mad Max was awesome before, but you have to see it on Bluray.
OtterBox Commuter Series Case for Apple iPhone 6 or 6s: A polycarbonate shell surrounds a synthetic rubber slipcover, keeping your iPhone safe from bumps and drops. A self-adhesive screen protector is included to minimize scratches on your phone's touch screen.
AA are still bringing much energy and sonic quality to each album, and this one is right there with them. They upped their melodic spectrum and sacrificed nothing in the process.
I gave it four stars because the previous two albums were incredible. This is a new chapter for a fantastic band, and there are some great songs here, but I feel they have some room for developing this new direction. Not let down at all, just anticipating what is next.
