SP-B22-LR is a bass-reflex speaker with a 1" soft-dome tweeter and a 4" woofer, neither magnetically shielded—but both drivers are new.
It's impressive when a talented speaker designer such as Andrew Jones comes up with a quality speaker costing less than $200/pair. The sound is balanced, neutral, and involving, with no significant shortcomings. An excellent choice for the fiscally challenged music lover.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd, the guitar master just playing the blues. Covering songs by Albert King, Muddy Waters, Magic Sam, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bo Diddley, Freddie King and B.B. King backed by an all-star band of drummer Chris Layton (Double Trouble), bassist Tony Franklin (the Firm), and keyboardist Riley Osbourn (Willie Nelson), and featuring numerous guest spots by Keb’ Mo’, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, Warren Haynes, and Robert Randolph. It features blistering guitar leads and delivers a comfortable, warm, and perhaps wise return to where it all started.
