No wires!! Built in battery and Wifi!! 2TB!! One gripe, it's formatted in FAT32. If you want ntfs like me you will have to format. I plan to make a FAT32 partition and a ntfs partition. Most people will likely be ok with FAT. Unfortunately, you still have to charge the battery but then, No wires!! Did I mention it's wireless?

Not bad for the price. I'm not sure how it would hold up under heavy use. I bought it for a 7" windows tab which fits nicely. I mainly use it around the house, if I'm taking it out somewhere I use a sturdier hardshell case. But this Belkin one lets you charge in the case, my other one doesn't. Good if you're on a budget or as a spare.

I bought this case for my WD Passport wireless 2TB which is thicker than most drives. It fits well but no room for accessories. But the nice thing about this drive is it's wireless so you don't need to carry accessories. Most wired drives are smaller and will find room in the mesh pouch inside for cables. Seems sturdy, nice finish.

A reviewer writes that you must disconnect from your home network to connect to this product's network. True or false?
if you want to use this product wirelessly (and that is the selling point of the product), then you are required to disconnect from your regular home network to log into this product's unique wifi network. Meaning you cannot copy pictures directly from this unit to the Internet. For me, that hurts convenience. And now I'm always changing wifi networkks back-and-forth
You can connect either way, just the drive or both. You may need to check the instructions if you can't figure out how but it's easy.

yes usb that's also how you charge the battery.
