We purchased the Amazon Fire HD 8 for my son's 7th birthday. Had some issues with redeeming the movie Lego Batman due to UltraViolet DRM. Other than that, the tablet works great for his movies, YouTube and games. We also purchased the Kid-Proof case.

Do Not Redeem Digital Download on Flixster

I bought this movie for the disks and also to put the digital download onto my son's Kindle Fire HD 8. If you redeem the digital download through Flixster, it will never be able to be played on the Fire. You cannot un-redeem or move the copy to another service. Linking accounts does not work. This has to do with UltraViolet DRM and Flixster and Kindle not willing to play together.
I ended up ripping the DVD and copying the file to the Fire HD 8.
