CONNECTING MY NEW PIONEER VSX-90 TO !) YEASR OLD PROJECTION TV
I just bought the Pioneer VSX-90 receiver today from Best Buy. My 10 year old 70 inch projection Tv is still working great and not ready for replacement. I will be connecting the new receiver to my old tv using it to listen to music thru speakers installed in my ceiling for radio, blue tooth playing from apple play list use. Just wondering what accessories( cables) I will need to get it hooked up properly. Any help will be greatly appreciated. And will the new recover be compatible to my old tv ? Thanks
You probably figured this out but, use the same cable you used before. It should work as its a 10yr old tv. If its a new install than you will need a set of RCA cables to go from the audio out on the tv(if it has that) to the receiver. If it doesn't have audio out you will need a few more RCA cables to go from your source to the receiver and then receiver to the TV. You may have some better connection options than RCA cables but on a 10yr old TV I don't know what it has for connections on the back.
