Beautiful restoration

This movie was a favorite of my daughters when they were growing up and we had it on VHS. After renting from Amazon and later from Netflix for my young grandson I was thrilled to find this anniversary edition. The restoration is impressive on Blu-Ray and more than acceptable on DVD. The story and songs are memorable even for very young children. As a teacher
I have never been happy with the negative portrayal of the school and its teacher, but the scene is brief and Elliot is definitely the star of the scene even though he is invisible at that point.
The mix of animation and live action is classic Disney and executed perfectly, especially for that time.
