Not so Smart TV

TV was not user friendly. Anyone buying this will need a certain degree of technology knowledge. As compared to another brand in my house the Sony lacked internet access options that were standard on the other brand and were preloaded for accessibility thru the remote.

Vizio Smartcast App - Required to operate

Very difficult to set-up on smart phone, if it works at all. It took a about 4 hrs of a Saturday with the Vizio help desk to get setup what i could then i quit. They knew there was problem when this was rolled out. It is poor quality code and too difficult for the user. Power on function from app does not work even after resetting power option making you use the remote anyhow. Will not pair causing the user to link thru WiFi. Even after linking thru WiFi most options are greyed out preventing using the app for anything. Bottom line is its very difficult to get working if at all. Seems as though the app was not tested or thought thru. I'm returning the TV and suggest Best Buy return all Vizio TV's that require the app.
