I loved this one; No bones about it! Undead pan comedy with send ups on Sam Peckinpaw with extra comic punch from Mel Brooks! Dennisovitch is adorable and the jokes really funny!
Even if you aren't a fan of wrestling, there's no disputing The Rock's magnetism and charisma in front of the camera. The Scorpion King his first leading role, showcases his physical ability and animal magnetism without restraint. The DVD is widescreen and is loaded with extras including a sneak peek behind the scenes at his next big role in the movie Helldorado, video commentary with The Rock as he shares stories about the making of The Scorpion King. The DVD also offers alternate scenes that you can view as you watch the film, a shot-by-shot choreography of a fight sequence as it happens from story-boards to rehearsal. There's a commentary track with director Chuck Russell, a making-of documentary, a visual -effects discussion with the effects team, the "I Stand Alone"music video by Godsmack and more. There is also a pretty interesting DVD-Rom feature called "Universal Studios Total Axess" that gives the viewer access to regularly updated commentaries, behind the scenes footage and lots more. The Scorpion King is also available in a version which includes the soundtrack to the film.
I was a little hesitant at first... then I watched it and found it to be a very entertaining and action packed first effort by the Rock Dwayne Johnson. I've been a fan ever since- good film, lots of laughs, action and great sets.
It's a dark and quite riveting thriller of an erotic variety. The sensuality of Emmanuelle that has some over the top moments of an adult nature. This isn't for the faint of heart and does carry quite a dark take on the world of obsession and the one of mental illness
The Rock as a helo pilot caught up in and overdue disaster. For a disaster film - not that great, but it was a fun and exciting ride from start to finish that featured some really cool effects!
The second season of this sci-fi thriller continues to follow orphan Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) throughout a deadly conspiracy after learning that she is not only a clone, but that there are others out there like her - some of whom don't have the best intentions.
The roller coaster ride for a search for identity of self, evading insidious military forces and the strains of personal romance and family are visited once again in this season of Orphan Black. Tatyana is magificent as the titular character and her clones. I'd recommend this to any serious science fiction fan!
A very enjoyable romp as a clash of two cultures becomes one with two life forms! Jim Parsons is wondrous and his chemistry with Rhianna is magnificent. A fun film everyone can enjoy ^_^
This bone chilling release from the horror series Penny Dreadful includes all eight episodes of the show's first season, following characters in Victorian England through many terrifying, sexually disturbing horrors.
Okay, so this isn't for everyone and can be a tad confusing from time to time, but the ensemble cast makes it worth the effort in this horror/steampunk story.
Despite some of the over the top... really good! Was it close to the book? No. I enjoyed the romp for what it was - action, adventure and a really good performance by Martin Freeman and Ian McKellen!
This release serves up every episode from the fourth season of HBO's Game of Thrones, the fantasy series about various clans vying for control of a kingdom that is based on the thick novels of writer George RR Martin.
Tyrion's story continues as now the Lannisters are now on the receiving end of bad fortune as their decision to persecute Tyrion. Despite the moments of brutal barbarism, the story weaved is captivating, fascinating and enough mystery to get you to watch all the episodes.
