Quiet but powerful

This film is slow and quiet, compared to most films nowadays, but is very powerful and memorable. Jason Segal is excellent as David Foster Wallace, and Jesse Eisenberg is a great intellectual foil. Look for Segal to get some awards attention later this year.

Great horror-comedy

"The Final Girls," while not the greatest horror-comedy film, is still highly entertaining for those familiar with all the genre tropes, especially the 80s slasher films. Very interesting tweak on the premise of watching a bad horror film--as the main characters are sucked into the bad movie itself. I was looking forward to seeing this since reading about it at Sundance 2015, and it did not disappoint.

"Inside Out' is one of the best films Pixar has released since "Wall-E." While of course geared towards children, this film is more for adults than the little ones. The special packaging only emphasizes how wonderful the film is, letting you choose which mood to focus on as you're watching the movie.

Great step up from the DVD version

This BD version of BLACK SWAN is a huge improvement over the DVD version. The picture quality is improved and the special features are far more extensive, going into even further detail about the making of the film. The main menu, where you access those feature, could have been designed better. It's a little cumbersome navigating around to what you are looking for. Overall though, the BD is a massive step up from the DVD, and well worth the extra money.

ALL IS LOST is a thrilling survival story starring Robert Redford. Alone in the middle of the ocean after his ship is damaged, the only way he can survive--and be rescued--is by keeping calm and smartly using his supplies on hand. This Blu-ray edition shows off the movie very well, and the extra features go into great detail about how the film was made. My only complaint is that only a BD disc was offered, instead of the BD/DVD combo that's standard nowadays.

Great end to a terrific trilogy

I purchased the Blu-ray version of "Dark Knight Rises" because I had recently upgraded from a DVD to a Blu-ray player. I wanted this film on BD because of all the extras it contains--since DVDs are being released with bare bones extras now. It was definitely worth the upgrade. The picture and audio quality are excellent, and the special features highlight all the time and effort that went into making not only this film but the whole series--one of the best in cinema history.

This is a good introductory album to the band AWOLNation. Some of the tracks ("Sail," "Not Your Fault," "Kill Your Heroes") have received decent radio play and thus were more familiar, but most of the other songs were also of high quality, with interesting beats and lyrics. The one drawback was the last song, "Knights of Shame." It takes up almost one-third of the total running time, if you include the hidden track at the end, and after awhile it becomes repetitive and boring. Other than that, this is a great collection of songs, and I plan on buying the next album AWOLNation releases.
