Good movie, entertaining

It is a decent characterization of Formula Racing during the 70's. It tells a good story, and makes it believable. Though the racing scenes are extremely well done, their are really not that many in a movie that is supposed to focus on racing, and its pitfalls. I give the movie a 7 out of 10.

Extremely fast, very cost effective

This microSD is the bomb. It allows for very fast reads/writes and has gobs of storage capacity. The price was unbelievable, so I bought two. I run one in my cell phone, the other in my GoPro3+, and both are significantly more stable with these in them, over my old SanDisk 32's. mind you, these are considerably newer and are designed to run much faster, so that is not a knock on SanDisk, just that this newer technology is significantly better than that of two years ago.

Decent picture, moderate manual control

For its intended purpose, the Hero3+ is a fine camera. It takes very good, clear video or stills and has a very good frame rate. it does suffer from the fish-eye lense effect which must be corrected in software. The software available from the company is rather sad, but can be made to work reasonabley well. I bought this camera to record video on the race track, and it works great for that, once you get it pointed reasonably. I really wish it had a way to easily review live video without secondary equipment.

Stays stable with a light (or counter weighted payload). However, it is a little difficult to use and manuever, as the stiction of the mechanisms is either too much, or too little (ie, not extremely precise). However, the monopod is awesome, as it is absolutely easy to use (by definition). Overall, the unit is light weight, and easy to carry, either in a bag, or by itself. For camera and small binocular use, it is more than adequate.

I have seen the Moody Blues several times in concert, and they have always sounded better than they did on the Live from Montrose video. Don't get me wrong it is not bad, just not anywhere near as good as I have heard them Live myself. The video however, is horrible. Most of the time, you can only tell who is who by where they are standing on the stage. Although it is a reasonable set list, the cost of this does not make it worth the money. Wish I had not wasted my money on it.

Movie is good for what it is

If you liked the 70's - 90's for music, and you don't try to read to much into it, this movie is pretty good. If you are looking for fine cinema, you will be disappointed. The acting is fair to average, and the plethora of music and acting idols from that era show exactly why they are now doing movies like this, their talents were limited then, and many are non-existant now. That said, it is not a horrible movie. My wife and I enjoyed the music, and even the limited plot within it, but I probably will not watch it but maybe once more.

What's great about it: If you like 70's/80's/90's rock, this movie will please, but don't expect idolic reproductions of the music
What's not so great: Too much like a musical, than a movie about music and musicians
