Better but a grind

I'll start with the micro-transactions. it didn't matter because the card upgrade system was/is just as dumb. Even if you bought all the cards you have to be a certain level to upgrade them. so once they put it back it will likely be worse unless fixed as people will be the player level needed.
In multiplayer, there are really three modes worth caring about. Starfighter Assault, the spaceship-only skirmish that effortlessly blends objective play with standard dogfights; Heroes vs Villains, where you get to live out your fantasies of playing as iconic Star Wars characters; and Galactic Assault, the Conquest/Rush-style objective mode with the highest player count of 20v20.
best xp gain has been from Heroes vs Villains. basically like the first one if you played it. Short matches with lots of points.
Single Player is there now but so simple it's useless unless you want the credits and achievements
worst mechanic left off is still not able to climb. they have ramp areas or short places to jump on or over. there are some things or even areas where climbing over would be so helpful
Another con is playing with friends. yes you can invite them but for Galactic Assault there are no groups like Battlefield. you get paired with 3 random people. they have a sign that says stay together for more points but since no one talk people quickly go their way

If you’re not already a Souls veteran, you’re going to have a hard time getting into it. But while that may make it a tough sell for newcomers, it’s very much a part of the charm for fans.

After years of watching and even able to play a few times, it's so nice to have it home. gameplay has been smooth wit not as much button smashing with some characters. online has been spotty but an update just came out so hopefully that fixes or at least improves it. Customization is so fun, wasn't long before you saw skeletor and other known characters designed. of course you need in game money to get most as playing only gives so much.
For the CE, the statue is GREAT. Tall as a normal figure but a bit longer like the Gears of War bike. If you're a collector, certainly a must. If not and just like Tekken, put the $ to the DLC.
DLC, for the price it could have been added.
