an improvement from the regular tv but id suggest getting wattage of 300+ if you can afford to. the price point was the biggest positive for me and the fact that i can upgrade this system with the samsung wireless rear speakers which i plan to do later on

Overall pretty happy with these speakers soundwise. the bass is sufficent for what i wanted out of a small system.
the styling could be better..look kind of tacky with the circles wish they were more boxy with a speaker screen but again theyre only $35

If you run audio through a mac to the hdmi and then to a speaker you lose control of the speaker via the mac os

This is a good looking monitor for only 1080p. Make sure you have a computer that can output to it tho cause a 2012 mackbook pro struggled to. Got it as a alternative to ultrawide and the price and amount of real estate you get its a much better deal
