Replacement mouse

I purchased this to replace the Microsoft mouse that came with my keyboard/mouse combo. My original mouse was almost 50% larger and after looking, I could not find one that large. (Wanted a Microsoft one to go with my keyboard which I love)
I can't really complain about the size because it was on display when I purchased it so I knew what I was getting.
The USB transceiver is micro in size. Sadly the mouse only works with the supplied transceiver, not my original one which controlled both the keyboard/mouse combo; so now I have to have two. On the plus side, the Microsoft software I already had installed instantly saw it (running Win 8.1 pro).

Simple Backup Does The Job

The little backup does exactly that; backup simple devices. As some others have commented/complained, it won't accept a 3-prong grounded plug; its not designed to! (look at the picture / read the description).
I have mine backing up my radio alarm clock (doesn't have internal battery) and my house cordless phone. It's small and run silent. It won't provide a whole lot of backup but plenty for simple devices. If you are unsure, spend another $10 for the next model up.
My only complaint is the green LED power light. It is BRIGHT. A piece of duct tape placed lightly over it will do the trick.
