Both X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013) are included in this 2-disc Blu-ray double feature that expand on the cinematic story of Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman.
I watched the re-boots & enjoyed them but... they were a little dark. Rogers' original film was "Camp" all the way, funny in parts & a mirror of society at the same time. This film captures that again & brings it up to date!
Kind of hard being a Classic TV Series viewer to understand the many roles that were altered for this script. However, I find it a fine film & worthy of the franchise.
With the list of stars (new & old) to the cast of Tarantinos' 8th film only signifies that it is a typical Tarantino film. However, well shot in 70mm & will become a Classic Western in due time.
The bonus disc of 3 tunes that Bowie recorded is a definite plus! The cast does their own take of Bowie's material & do a fine job with that. I hope that a touring company can bring it to my town.
Iggy found an excellent collaborator in Josh Homme. Homme as a producer helped recapture Iggy's late '70's sound & keeps it current as well. Iggy's best solo effort in many years!!
