The movie special effects were amazing, good clear vibrant colors. Nice artwork on steel book case, except for raised "bump" on top of case, all the cases at Best Buy were the same. ( manufacturing defect?)
First published in 1968 to an overwhelming degree of global attention, Erich von Daniken's volume Chariots of the Gods presented an extreme and chilling hypothesis. von Daniken spent the book systematically detailing evidence around the world which may suggest that extraterrestrial life forms visited ancient civilizations. Examples are manifold, but include the remnants of landing strips in Peru, cave etchings of bizarre creatures, and Indian texts that refer to "flying machines of the gods." But are these clues definitive? And if so, what can account for the subsequent departure of these aliens? As an unofficial companion piece to von Daniken's book, the History Channel documentary series Ancient Aliens journeys around the planet, visually examining the evidence firsthand. It places strongest emphasis, however, on related discoveries made between 1980 and 2010, including newly-unearthed artifacts in South America, Egypt and Syria, and bizarre DNA findings. This box set contains all five episodes from Season One: {#The Mission], The Evidence, The Visitors, Closer Encounters and The Return.
This set contains every episode from the first season of HBO's True Detective. Every episode was written by series creator Nic Pizzolatto and directed by Cary Fukunaga. The program stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as Louisiana detectives who reunite after an ugly falling out in order to solve a murder they failed to crack years before.
