On my BMPCC the 12mm is equivalent to a 35mm lens. The image quality is awesome with no noticeable vignetting or CA. At f/2.0 it is still relatively fast in low light situations. Bought the lens on sale so feel like I got a great deal for money (some rival lenses I considered and tested are cheaper I feel they are flawed in comparison. Image reproduction is equal, if not better, than some more expensive glass.

Purchased the Olympus - M.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8 Portrait Lens for my BMPCC and have to say I am very happy with it. The lens is relatively fast at 1.8 and the 45mm lens on the BMPCC give me at 130 mm effective focal length. The build quality is excellent (the lens' housing and mount are metal).

I HAVE BAYNET FIX LENSES FROM PRACTICA FILM CAMERA, WILL THEY FIT ANY DIGITAL CAMERAS, AND WORK SUCCESSFULLY ?
Yes with the right adapter. The Practica mount is a M42 mount. You just need to google M42 to your camera brand adapter.

Depends on the Camera. The EF-S lenses will not work on the full frame bodies like the 5D but will work on those with the APS-C sensor like the 70D and Rebel. The EF lens will work on all Canon DSLR cameras. If considering after market brand just check their specs. If you have a desired brand in mind you can google the brand name with camera type i.e. Sigma Zoom lens for Canon Ti 5. or Tokina zoom for Canon 7D.

Have a D5000 and want to upgrade to a good photography lens. Take lots of senior photo shoots and family portraits. What is a good starter upgrade? Something not too expensive, but get me some clear crisper shots!
A prime like the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 (equivalent to 76mm on you camera due to sensor size) at $135 is a nice portrait lens to have in your kit. If you are doing sports, A some what fast telephoto zoom. the nicer ones f/2.8 might be out of your budget but the Nikon Nikkor AF-S VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED might be a good answer.
A few other focal lengths to consider are 35mm (46mm), 24 mm (36 mm), 14 mm (21mm) and 85mm (129mm).
I prefer Zeiss lenses and my go to lenses are the 50mm (f/1.4 and f/1.8-Nikkor) and 85mm (f/1.4) lenses.

I want to buy a lens for a Nikon 5100 I bought there in April.. what would you suggest? Thanks
Depending on what you want to shoot. It is always good to have a variety of lenses in your kit. For Portraits I suggest the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D.(equivalent to a 76mm lens due to the sensor size). A 35mm focal length is a nice normal lens (46mm on your camera).
On zooms I like the faster f/stops i.e. 2.0-2.8 vs the slower lenses (f/4-5.6). I will warn you that some of the after market brands are hit and miss when it comes to image and build quality. If you plan to stay with the Nikon brand I suggest you invest in quality glass.
