I use the plug/switch with my Alexa. The plug/switch works the majority of the time as needed; however since I have purchased the unit I have had to remove and reassociate the unit with the Alexa app on two occasions so it will continue to work as designed.

This is our first food processor. The price was reasonable and the product performance is acceptable. Removal of the lid is not intuitive and you need to ensure you read the instructions. Overall body and bowl are made from plastic and may not last long term. Anticipate that this device may have to be replaced in 3-5 years with regular usage.
