I only maintain 2 guitars, 1 electric and 1 acoustic so this is perfect for me. Standing on the carpet the vertical column leans on 1 side but not really a problem and will not cause your gear to tip over. Overall, steel construction is good, neck guard is tight. Good fit and finish, I'd buy another one if this gets stolen or something ;-)

For sure! One slight complain is how the headphone presses on the head but not a deal breaker. It is still comfortable, I've used for almost 4-5 hours straight. I'm guessing this would be just right for you...

Hi,
Start with connecting your Garmin through USB to your PC. It will pop up with instructions on how to proceed--hard to go wrong with on screen step by step procedures. It will include download of the software and what not. There's an option to automatically update with new maps if available. The next time you connect your Garmin it will automatically launch the program and so long as you are online then it will be straight forward. HTH.

what will give me better sound hdmi or optical cable? is it better to hook up to reciever?
how will I get the optimum sound with the optical cord or hdmi and should I be hooking this up to my receiver and if yes what configuration should I set up?
I've been using optical, I don't see any advantage with HDMI unless you're looking to control the device too. Optical is purely digital and cheaper too, as far as I know HDMI carries analog audio.
