I bought a bunch of batteries at the same time as this kit and was going to use this to stock up and keep them handy. Unfortunately, the person doing the packing job for shipping didn't do their job too well and the case came shattered. I should have saved my money or just gone to the local store when they were in stock. Oh well, at least the batteries look like they will be good and they are a nice assortment of common sizes.

Bought this to help with some power fluctuations in an office, turned out to be another problem. Installed in another location to provide backup power for a switch and server in an area that is prone to power loss due to human error (vacuum gets priority over network for some reason). Looking forward to not having the problem any more as the alarm should get their attention!

We have about a half dozen Brother printers around our small campus now and have found them to be reliable and easy to set up. This model is no exception, had it all setup in a matter of minutes. Nice print speeds, quick startup from sleep and very good looking prints. Toner cartiridges are fairly cheap and aftermerket bring the price down even more. Very happy with this brand and model.

I was in need of a reliable router for my home and picked this one up after looking at several brands and models. I am not disappointed at all! Very easy to configure and the signal is much stronger than my (very) old Linksys and D-Link routers.
I was getting frustrated with constantly rebooting my old faithful router and was trying to decide if the problem was with my ISP. As a last resort, I got this to see if the problem was on my end and haven't had to reboot once in two months. It runs quickly no matter how much traffic we have on it (2 PC's, 5 phones, 1 tablet and 4 laptops all connected at once) or what is streaming. Very happy with the dual band and haven't found anything to complain about!
I have used quite a few routers, switches and modems over the years and am repeatedly impressed by Netgear's products.

Do you have to have a modem to hook up the router? We have AT&T DSL
This router does not act as a modem, so you would need a modem to convert the signal from phone to ethernet. Once you have it this router does just about everything you could ask! You can add storage, printers and other wired devices to the ethernet and USB ports.

is this microwave mountable for under a cabinet?
I didn't see any place on the sides or back to support it when I mounted ours in our fifth wheel, so you would need to build some sort of sling to hold it from underneath. It is not designed to be mounted over a stove or hung from under a cabinet. It does say in the manual that it needs room around it for ventilation so check that you follow all the requirements there. When I mounted ours on the shelf, I used several existing screws on the bottom side to connect the brackets from the old microwave.

This adapter worked very well on several of our VGA projectors, running from a couple of different HDMI sources, but it didn't work at all with others - no matter which cables we used. The only thing you can do is try it, and then return it if it doesn't work for you. You will need a VGA cable (probably already on the monitor) and this device since it has an HDMI cable on the end.

So I'm on an alienware 14 laptop, and it only has a HDMI port. I just bought a BenQ xl2411z monitor so I could run 120 hz. Turns out through HDMI you can only go as high as 60 hz. I did some research and purchased a high speed hdmi cable, it said I would be possible to run up to 600hz (or whatever your monitor went up to, as long as it wasn't higher then 600hz. So I tried it, I could run 120hz BUT in a low resolution (not even hd, it was 1024,768). I want a minimum of 1280x720 with anything higher then 60hz. If I use this chord to connect to my laptop, will I be able to run 120hz?

I really don't think so. This adapter has a smaller bandwidth than HDMI, as VGA was never intended to run high resolutions at high refresh rates. You MIGHT find different results trying different cables (as I did just trying to get Apple TV to work through this on a VGA projector), but the limitation is most likely with your hardware on your laptop. I can't find any hard numbers from Dell, but it wouldn't surprise me if it can't handle the bandwidth to do 120Hz at the resolutions you want.

I am not trying to be snide, I know from experience that I get frustrated when something says it can do something and then after I sink a bunch of time and money into it I find it really can't! I realize the refresh rates are important - especially in games - but refresh rates on paper and the actual way a product looks don't always compare well.
Can you take your laptop into your local Best Buy and hook it up to a 120Hz screen there and try some of their cables they have laying around? Maybe one of the combinations will work better. The store in my town is pretty good about wanting to make sure things work for the customers and they usually go out of their way to help as much as they can.

It works great in both my Canon MP600 (yes, it is still printing great after all these years) and my Brother MFC-J4710DW. I set it to run on high quality and was happy with the results. On my Canon, I used the top feed so the path was more straight since the paper is so thick and on the Brother I fed from the back for the same reason.
