I had high expectations when I first saw this film. Unfortunately the finishing project came a bit short for me. I’m not saying the film was horrible. It has accurate historic details I suppose and was trying to stay as close to the real story. Ultimately all the action scenes were shown in the trailer. Got bored towards the end honesty. Still worth watching but as a rental.

Couldn’t miss out on this great deal for this amazing steelbook! 8 dollars is a steal on top of that both Vol 1 & 2 had the offer. I was able to get this in store but the first film was sold out so I had to order it online and luckily there’s free shipping for all items. It’s a must own for collectors! Especially since Best Buy has most his films in steelbook format.

I absolutely loved the visual effects in this film. Not only was it beautifully shot but the action was great and there was never a dull moment. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry but ultimately you’ll be cheering for Princess Diana! The steelbook design is pretty neat. Has that comic book throw back vibe to it. I would of preferred an actual cover instead but I’m still ultimately satisfied with final work. Back when I saw this in theaters I went to the Best Buy website right away to see if they were going to have a steelbook and of course they were! As soon as I got home I pre ordered it right away! Despite the day of actual release my Best Buy store had more than enough copies available. Same thing happened for the release of Star Wars The Force Awakens. You can never be to sure and I still strongly recommend ordering ahead of time!

What I loved about this installment is that a gave a complete origin story to the franchise. The acting was okay and the visual effects beautiful like always. I’m hoping the upcoming spinoff/prequel “Bumblebee” has a more action packed approach. The film had dull moments but I still enjoyed watching the film. Adding Star Lord’s mother to the cast was a bonus! Haha! As for the steelbook design it was pretty simple but very nice. I expected a more detailed design to be honest. A must own to the collection!
